Dr. Richard Olumide Oyefeso, MD, FAAP, is a Consultant Pediatrician, global child health advocate, and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. With an international career spanning Nigeria, the Caribbean, and North America, Dr. Oyefeso brings a deep clinical background and a lifelong commitment to advancing pediatric care, bridging health equity gaps, and empowering underserved communities.

Beyond clinical practice across the United States and Canada, Dr. Oyefeso is a dedicated champion for preventive parenting and family well-being. Driven by the belief that thriving children require supported, proactive caregivers, he is currently developing an innovative educational platform focused on preventive parenting—equipping families with actionable strategies to foster emotional resilience, behavioral wellness, and balanced development in children.

Dr. Oyefeso is the Founder and Executive Director of 4 Breath 4 Life, a non-profit initiative established to combat high infant and maternal mortality rates in underserved regions, particularly in Nigeria. Under his leadership, the organization delivers high-impact healthcare capacity-building programs, essential newborn resuscitation workshops, and grassroots community health education. 4 Breath 4 Life works in strategic synergy with national bodies—including the Pediatric Association of Nigeria (PAN) and the Nigerian Society of Neonatal Medicine (NISONM)—to drive measurable improvements in neonatal survival.
