Ignacio Mongrell is a Uruguay-born MBA graduate (MBET, University of Waterloo) and seasoned innovation leader. With roles at Waterloo Accelerator Centre and Haltech, he has driven impactful programs for early-stage ventures. As Assistant Director at U of T’s ICUBE and Chair of Positive Space, he champions inclusion and entrepreneurship. Winner of UTM’s equity and sustainability awards (2022, 2024), Ignacio is also a Green Party candidate for University-Rosedale. An artist and musician, he brings creativity into academia, fitness, and community life as well.
